Plastic Table
Although it is not all that nice, and certainly it is not very attractive, my folding plastic table certainly does come in handy. The advantages of plastic tables over other kinds of furniture is that they are something that you really do not have to worry about breaking. If something happens to your plastic table, it is not going to be the end of the world. This might not seem like such a selling point to many families, but if you have kids like mine, a plastic picnic table is like a godsend. I can not explain why it is how it is, but when they are outside, I can not keep them from running in to anything and everything.
They have broken three picnic tables up to this point, and so, rather than continuing to shout at them, I decided to have done with it and get a plain, ugly plastic table that I would not feel bad about if something bad happened to it. Of course, I felt the ability to get a cheap plastic table cloth to go along with it, and this also has its advantages. If little Joe is to spill his juice on it, say, it is no matter at all. He can do anything that he wants and that plastic table cloth is not going to be ruined, no matter what.

That is such a huge relief after my kids have destroyed just about everything that we have ever used to cover that table. I swear, I think that they might be ADD with how badly they can not sit still. Of course, there are a lot of things that recommend a plastic table besides the fact that it is cheap and easy to replace.
The fact is that plastic tables are lightweight, and so they can be moved around and stored with a good deal of ease. Another good thing is that, although wooden picnic tables are likely to have sharp edges that you can get hit on, plastic tables usually will have nice rounded edges. That means that even if your kids are wrestling on top of the plastic table, no one is going to get hurt by it. And if you have kids who are like my kids, then you will see the advantages of a nice plastic table, and that is no lie. It is the best thing to happen to us.
