What would you consider to be your dream home? Would you be satisfied with a simple 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2000 square foot family abode? Or are you thinking more along the lines of celebrity homes. You know the ones that have virtually everything you could possibly imagine. Anything from bowling alleys, to basketball courts, to home movie theaters can be found in these dreamy mansions. I guess I could see why pretty much any human being would love such a wondrous palace. You could definitely keep yourself entertained on a regular basis. But what about the ridiculous costs of celebrity homes. Are you interested in forking out 20 million for a freaking house? That seems absurd to me. Can you even fathom the taxes you’d pay? It would be an utter nightmare.
What do folks see in celebrity homes? Well, clearly they see something unattainable because they have a show called “Cribs” on MTV every week. That is what this show focuses on. You get to take a five minute tour through celebrity homes. Each episode reveals someone new. Whether it be a pro football player, a famous actress or a supermodel, these folks certainly have some expensive homes. Maybe a little too expensive. If I remember correctly, Aaron Spelling had the most lavish and massive home I’d ever heard of. I believe it was 56,000 square feet. That is crazy! What would you even do with such a house? Most of us steer more toward a 2-3000 square foot home. I definitely can’t imagine residing in something that is over 50 thousand square feet. It’s like your very own town. I immediately wondered what all was in this home to make it so gargantuan. Do they have their own shopping center inside? Well, it is Aaron Spelling we’re talking about here.
Out of all the celebrity homes you’ve ever seen, which one do you like the most? I honestly can’t answer this question. I have seen quite a few on television and the Internet, but couldn’t tell you which one reigns supreme. Basically when it comes to celebrity homes, I don’t see the point. I can’t imagine I would spend 20 million on a home even if I had it. That just seems like too much. Plus there’s the fact that many of these celebrities later don’t get work, and sadly end up losing their homes. That would be a bummer.
