Professional moving companies are able to load and unload a truck without breaking or damaging items. While some are faster than others, most movers can empty a home in a few hours. When the movers arrive, they will get to work. If you have packed boxes yourself, it will take movers even less time to complete their job. Check with the relocation comapanies to see if you can use packing materials other than the ones they use. Some companies will not move boxes unless they know they are strong and protect the contents inside.
When you make arrangements for movers, try to arrange for a morning move. This is when movers will be at their best. Later in the day and they may be tired from having helped other people move. Even though relocation comapanies will typically send two movers to help, after moving two or three other families, most movers will be less energetic than they were in the morning.
Remember these Relocation Services are charging you a substantial amount of money to help you move so make sure you get the most out of their services. If you are not satisfied with their services make sure you tell them and ask for some sort of refund.
