You don’t want your kids being watched by a phedofile or someone with a violent history. Also make sure you get at least fifteen years of detailed history. Actually I only recommend sites with twenty years of history. This could include info like where the person lived previously including phone number previous roommates and girlfriends.

Then take a close look at arrest records and court warrants across all of the united states! This is important as it can reveal whether someone is trying to “run away from their background”.

Have they paid their taxes / tax liens nationwide? Make sure they have. If if it may seem un-necessary in regards of hiring a nanny or so, but believe me, it is!

Any federal or civil Judgments nationwide? Also, if you are looking to find a person to trust with your hard earned financials make sure that they have a bankruptcy history that is as white as snow. Check both federal and state bankruptcies records nationwide. Take it from someone who has been seriously burned!

Do they have any scars, body marks, tattoos or other “trade marks”? Not that it really matters in most cases but it always good to know if they actaully are the ones they claim to be or if they have removed their tattoos. Why did they remove them? Also, tattoos can tell much about a person. Someone with a “Gang” tattoo on their chest is most likely not going to get in trouble one way or the other.

Comprehensive background checks should of course also include records on Who their relatives are and where they live and where the person in question was born and when.

Further look for maiden names and marriages, DUI Records and land and properties they may have or do own. AS you might see, the Free Criminal Background Checks you would need to perform in order to collect correct information is a lot and can be over the top time consuming. Time you could have spent playing with your kids or playing golf.
