The advantages of using a small security camera become obvious when you compare them to their much larger cousins.

While many home and business owners would love the power and coverage ability of the larger, more expensive models the truth is, a small security camera can be even more effective simply because of it’s size.

From Pinhole cameras to Board cameras to Micro cameras; the security camera is getting smaller and smaller and with the wireless models which work of your computer coming more and more into vogue, there may be a time when the more traditional bullet, dome or CCTV cameras could eventually be phased out.

- Suspect fraud within your business. Once you clear any legal requirements, the use of a small security camera in detecting fraud within business premises is ideal.

- In domestic situations, a small security camera is excellent for keeping an eye on the kids in another part of the house.

- Again for investigative work, small cameras such as micro or pinhole models can literally turn one into a walking movie or reality experience.

- Flexibility is another big plus. Bigger cameras once fixed into position cannot be moved around however, a small security camera affords the luxury of being movable to suit your coverage requirements.

Prices vary considerably with smaller cameras and it’s a little hard to give you correct estimates. For under $100, you can pick up plenty of value for money however, prices can go well beyond this mark.
